Ingredients of Tomato Garlic Chutney
- 250 gms tomatoes, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- curry leaves
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp hing
- to taste salt

How to Make Tomato Garlic Chutney

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, allow it to crackle.

Then throw in the curry leaves and roast slightly.

Next add the chopped garlic and roast for a minute or two until you smell the aroma.

Once the garlic is roasted, add the tomatoes and heat on low flame. Sautee it, until it gets soft and mushy and you get a red, thick, paste like consistency.

Finally add red chilli powder and hing, mix everything well.

Add salt, mix again. Switch off the flame allow it to cool.
7.
Now take a blender and blend it into chutney of your desired consistency.
8.
Take out the chutney and pair with roti, naan or rice.
