Bake Box -The Cure For Indian Cake-a-Holics

Bake Box was launched in august 2012 to serve cake-a-holics in Delhi. Featuring one exceptional and upcoming home baker every month, Bake Box sends out home-delivered Bake Boxes full of delicious treats and goodies to their registered subscribers. Priced at 850 INR inclusive of delivery for a one month membership, bake box-ers will be able to sample a carefully selected range of the featured baker's treats each month. There's icing on the cake for bakers too - Bake Box also serves as an effective promotional tool for talented home bakers to make their hidden delights much more visible to a larger audience.
The Bake Box team are already looking to rapidly expand the Bake Box service beyond NCR to other Indian cities.
About The FounderJennifer Duthie from UK was inspired by the concept of subscription commerce (s-commerce), a trend taking Western markets by storm. The idea for Bake Box then emerged at a brain storming session with young college students from St. Stephens College. As Jennifer Duthie highlights, 'The beauty of Bake Box is that we solve two problems - for our customers we provide an easy method to try out new cake and bakers without having to leave home. But we also offer bakers a route to market to a highly engaged customer base.
