Ingredients

  1. 2 cups refined flour
  2. 2 tsp castor sugar
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1 tsp active dry yeast
  5. 1/2 cup water
  6. 1/2 cup tomato puree
  7. Refined flour
  8. Olive oil
  9. 3-4 dried tomatoes
  10. 1 tbsp Pine nuts
  11. Basil
  12. Water

Recipe

  1. Take 2 cups of refined flour in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add castor sugar, salt and dry active yeast to the bowl. Mix it.
  3. Add water and tomato puree to the bowl. Knead the mixture.
  4. Spread refined flour on the tabletop. Knead the dough until soft.
  5. Add 2.5 tbsp olive oil to the dough.
  6. Continue to knead it for 2-3 minutes. Roll it out.
  7. Finish making the dough by sprinkling refined flour on top.
  8. Take a baking tray. Sprinkle olive oil on it.
  9. Sprinkle refined flour in the tray.
  10. Spread the rolled out dough on the tray.
  11. Punch into the dough to make small depressions.
  12. Sprinkle dried tomatoes.
  13. Add pine nuts and basil leaves.
  14. Sprinkle olive oil and water. Leave it to prove for 20 -25 minutes.
  15. Bake the dough at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.
  16. Take out the baked bread. Sprinkle olive oil.
  17. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  18. Cut the bread into slices to enjoy the soft leavened delicacy.
