Methi, also known as fenugreek leaves, is one of the most popular winter vegetables among Indians. Despite its distinct sour taste, it makes for some of the yummiest curries and gravies! This paneer-methi paratha is unlike any other paratha you have ever had. Rather than using granulated paneer, paneer is grated like cheese to make this paratha. The stuffing is spiced with garam masala, chilli powder, cumin powder and other classic Indian spices that are easily available in our kitchen.

Methi-Paneer Paratha Recipe: How To Make Winter-Special Methi-Paneer Paratha

Start by kneading a simple dough with atta, salt, oil and water. Let it rest for a while. Move on to preparing the stuffing. Chop the methi, onion, and green chillies and grate the paneer. Add this to a mixing bowl. Season it with garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Combine this well.

Make a ball of paneer-methi stuffing. Roll the dough like a roti and place that stuffing in the middle. Close the paratha and roll it again. Heat oil in a tawa and cook the paratha till it is crisp.
