Bhagyashree often comes to our rescue when we are in a food dilemma. If your New Year's resolution includes paying extra attention to your diet, the veteran actress has some valuable advice for you. In an Instagram post, Bhagyashree shares insights on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In the clip, she emphasises the importance of listening to your body. Bhagyashree explains that our body sends us "signals" to indicate nutrient deficiencies or when something isn't functioning properly. All you need to do is understand those cues.

The video begins with Bhagyashree addressing minor muscle contractions, also known as nerve twitches. According to her, magnesium deficiency is the cause of these twitches, particularly in the eyes or legs. To combat this issue, she suggests adding almonds, sunflower seeds and spinach to your daily meals.

Do you often feel irritated and angry? Bhagyashree warns that it could be a sign of Vitamin B deficiency. To resolve this, she recommends consuming rajma (kidney beans), chole (chickpeas) and peanuts. 

Next, Bhagyashree offers the perfect solution for brittle nails, which are often caused by iron deficiency. She recommends consuming spinach, beetroot and jaggery in sufficient quantities. She also suggests including bananas, coconut water and potatoes in your daily diet, as they are rich in potassium.

Previously, Bhagyashree highlighted the importance of having a special type of millet, known as amaranth or rajgira. According to her, amaranth is infused with vitamins and minerals like “potassium, magnesium manganese, choline, and lysine which helps to absorb calcium for building strong bones.” Bhgayshree added, “It also has iron and folate which is great for pregnant women as well as lactating mothers and this is the only millet that has muscle-building protein.” Click here to read the full story.
