Chai is one of the most ubiquitous drinks across India. The moment you visit a relative or friend's house, you are automatically offered a cup of tea with some namkeen or snacks. Typically, chai is prepared with tea leaves, whole spices, milk and sugar. However, if someone served you tea made with red chillies, would you be able to digest it? A Twitter user recently took to the platform to share a tea recipe that is ideal to serve to the people you detest. Take a look:

In the video, we could see the making of the 'chilli chai' as part of the prank. Rather than adding tea leaves or spices to the chai, the person added milk to a whole vessel full of red chillies. The resulting liquid looked quite a bit like chai, but of course, was several times as spicy since it was made with chillies alone. Twitter user @BhaavnaArora suggested using it as a prank for relatives and friends. "Serve it to all the aunties who come to your place and ask you to get married," wrote the user in her tweet.

A number of Twitter users reacted to the viral video of the spicy chai. It received over 500k tweet views and thousands of reactions and comments. "Pani puri bhayya will do this next time you ask bhayya aur teekha daalo," said one user. "Great invention," said another one. "Not a bad idea but I'm not that sadistic," argued another user.
