Ingredients of Amra Pickle
- 500 gms Amra
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Oil
- 4 tsp Mustard Powder
- 2 tsp Methi Dana
- 2 tsp Ajwain
- 2 tsp Mangrail
- 5 tsp Saunf
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tsp Turmeric Powder
How to Make Amra Pickle

Cut the amra into a cube then wash and dry it properly with a dry cloth.

Combine the amra, salt, and turmeric in a mixing bowl. Transfer it to a cotton cloth and place it under the sun for a few days.

In a mixer jar grind the methi, sarson, ajwain, mangrail and saunf. Combine the ground powder (Garam Masala) along with red chilli powder and hing (Asafoetida) to the amra. Add the mustard oil over the mixture and stir well.

Now put the pickle into an airtight glass jar and place it outside in the sun for a few days. The amra ka achar is prepared for serving once it is eatable.
