Ingredients of Cucumber Chaas

  • 300 gms curds (dahi)
  • 1 Cup cucumber (grated or chopped)
  • 4 tsp mint leaves , chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder or 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • coriander leaves (for garnish), grated

How to Make Cucumber Chaas

In a large jar, churn curds with a bit of water. Mix well to get froth. Add more water as required to make buttermilk.

In a grinder, add the cucumber along with the mint and chilli (optional). Blend to form a thick puree.

Combine the plain buttermilk and the cucumber puree in a jar. Add the spices and churn again. (You can also mix all the ingredients together in a blender.)
4.
Taste and adjust salt. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve chilled.
