Ingredients of Herb Coated Mushrooms with Cheese Sauce
- For the mushrooms:
- 200 gm button mushrooms
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 sprig thyme
- 2 tsp garlic, chopped
- Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp oil
- For the cheese sauce:
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp tomato puree
- 20 gms sauteed onions (Saute chopped onions in 1 tsp butter)
- 50 gm cheddar cheese
- 10 gm coriander leaves, to garnish
How to Make Herb Coated Mushrooms with Cheese Sauce

Marinate the mushroom with rosemary and thyme, chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and a bit of oil.

Cook mushrooms in the oven for 160 deg for 5mins
For sauce:

Take a pan, put butter, onion, garlic, tomato puree, saute onions, pepper, thyme and cook for sometime.

Remove from flame and let it cool for 2 minutes.

Add cheese to the sauce and blend it. After sauce is made, taste and check if seasoning is required since cheese already has salt.

Pour the cheese sauce into shot glasses and put roasted mushrooms on a toothpick add on top of sauce and serve.
