Ingredients of Paani Wala Achar

  • 2 Cups diced raw mangoes
  • 1/2 tsp yellow mustard, whole
  • 1/2 tsp black small mustard seeds (rai)
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 jar water
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil

How to Make Paani Wala Achar

Mix mustard oil, some salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder with the raw mangoes.

Let it rest under the sun for half a day.

Now, take some hot water and add the whole spices, along with salt.

Stir well and add the mangoes.
5.
Cover the mouth of the jar with cheese cloth and let it sit under the sun for a week.
6.
And you have paani ka achar ready to be relished.
