Ingredients of Sooji Besan Halwa
- 1/2 Cup Sooji
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 4 tbsp Besan
- 1 tbsp Green Cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 7-8 Almonds (Chopped)
- 7-8 Pistachios (Chopped)
- A Few Strands Saffron
- 1/2 cup Milk
How to Make Sooji Besan Halwa

Firstly, heat ghee in a pan. Once the ghee melts, add sooji (semolina) and sauté until it turns light brown.

Then, add gram flour and sauté for 3-4 minutes on high heat, stirring continuously to avoid stickiness. Add saffron and mix.

When the sooji, besan and ghee mixture turn light brown, add milk slowly and keep stirring.

Reduce heat, cover and cook for a minute or more.

Add green cardamom powder and sugar and mix till the sugar dissolves.

At last, garnish with almond and pistachio slivers and serve hot.
