Ingredients of Stir Fried Drumstick Leaves

  • 250 gms Tender drumstick leaves (Moringa)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • To taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 to 3 Garlic Clove
  • 1/4 Cup Onion
  • Dry red chillies – to taste
  • Curry leaves – 1 sprig (optional)
  • 1 Tomato

How to Make Stir Fried Drumstick Leaves

Clean the drumstick leaves (moringa) and discard the thick stems.

Finely chop the onion.
3.
Chop the tomato into small pieces.
4.
Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds and cumin
5.
Add garlic chopped cloves before adding the chopped onion.

When the onion becomes soft, incorporate crushed red chilies and optionally add curry leaves too.

Add the chopped tomato.
8.
Sprinkle in turmeric powder.
9.
Sauté the mixture for several minutes over medium heat.

Add the drumstick leaves and mix thoroughly.

Add salt to taste, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
