Shakarkandi Halwa Recipe: How To Make Shakarkandi Halwa

To begin with the recipe, you first need to cook 3-4 sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker. Once potatoes turn soft and mushy, mash them properly using a potato masher. Set aside.

The next step is to heat ghee or oil in a non-stick pan, fry cashews and almonds till golden. Once done, take them out!

Now, in the same oil add the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix it well and sauté for at least 3 to 4 mins on medium-low to medium heat. Add sugar according to taste.
