Teacher's Day: Dedicating a Dish to Five Types of Teachers
Most of us have stood outside the staff room, with rumbling tummies, waiting for the teachers to finish their samosa-chai break. This Teacher's day we remember 5 types of teachers dear or not so dear to us. The lazy ones, the crazy ones, the compulsive 'chalk throwers' or the kind ones who gave you a list of 'important questions' before exams.
Five teachers and the dishes we associate with them:
The Busy BodyThis teacher came into the class only to ask you to 'silently read this chapter and do the questions at home'. She was always busy managing some department or the other - The debate team or the art club. Admit it, we all had that one teacher who never covered the syllabus throughout the year and gave us 'important questions' before the exams. We loved her for all those free periods though.

The Friendly Agony Aunt
Who's this? The teacher you all went to discuss your life stories with. Your highs, your lows. She helped you become the person you are today (Well, almost...) This teacher is a rare species these days, apparently.Food for the friendly agony aunt: A classic chocolate cake

The Bitter OneWe all hate this teacher. She never has to shout because everyone is so terrified of her. In your head, she always walked with some background music. The tune usually was similar to 'Gabbar's' entry in Sholay.Food for the tough cookie: Stuffed karela (Do we need to explain why?)

The Know-it-allShe knew it all. At least she liked to believe so.. No matter how strong your point of debate is- She.Will.Prove.You.Wrong. You have no choice but to back off, sink in your chair while the class exchanges glances.Food for the know-it-all: High on technique, Mutton biryani
