Leafy greens are incorporated into many dishes in Northern India, also called as 'Saag'. One of the most popular winter green preparation is Sarson ka Saag, made with leaves of the mustard plant. The Palak ka Saag is also made with a similar process, except that it use spinach or Palak leaves in its making. Further, the Palak ka Saag can be enjoyed with breads or even rice for that matter.

Easy Palak Ka Saag Recipe: How To Make Palak Ka Saag

To make Palak ka Saag, first blanch the Palak leaves for a minute. Once they are ready, let them cool and then grind and keep aside. Next, prepare the Tadka for Palak ka saag by sauteeing cumin or Jeera in butter. Add chopped garlic, ginger, and onion to the pan and sautee for some time till onion becomes translucent. Now, add green chilli, tomato, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and mix everything well. You can also use some Garam Masala for an extra spicy edge. Add the prepared Spinach paste and also sprinkle salt to taste. Mix well, garnish with cream and serve hot!
