The reels video was shared by the content creator on April 23, 2023. It has amassed over 8.4 million views and 389k likes. The video was shot in the popular ASMR style, which means that emphasis was given to the sounds being made while creating the recipe.
In the video, we could see the making of the Hajmola mocktail. First, the creator emptied a couple of packets of Hajmola into a mortar and then pounded them with a pestle. He then transferred the powder of the digestive tablet into a glass and added a squeeze of lemon and sugar to it. Then, he added ice cubes and mint leaves into the glass and topped it up with soda.
Internet users remained divided about this mocktail creation. Some felt that it was actually a good idea for a refreshing summer drink. "Did anyone else salivate or is it just me," wrote one user. Others felt that consuming it could be dangerous as Hajmola was ultimately a digestive tablet. "Daily dosage is only two tablets," commented another user.
