Railways have strongly refuted claims in a Twitter thread that sub-standard food was served in the newly launched Vande Bharat train. Twitter user Himanshu (@Railfann9971) made allegations about the food served on the newly launched Vande Bharat train. The user expressed his dissatisfaction with the meal, stating that the food was 'pathetic' and also seemed a bit 'stale'. In the post, the Twitter user shared two pictures of his different experiences on Vande Bharat. The first photo he claimed was from the inaugural run of train number 22230 from Madgaon to Mumbai. Meanwhile, the second picture he claimed was from his more recent visit on the same train. Take a look at the post he shared:

However, the details of his travels are unclear and also the credibility of the pictures is yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, in cognizance of the incident, the Indian Railways too shared a response to the claims. "Please be assured that we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality across all aspects of our service, including food preparation and delivery. Request you to share PNR and mobile no preferably in DM," wrote IRCTC on Twitter. Take a look:
