How to Make Chicken Keema Matar

1.
Take a pan and heat some oil in it. Once it’s hot, add solid spices – bay leaves, black cardamom, black peppercorns to the pan and stir until they become aromatic and change colour to brown.
2.
Now add cumin seeds, and cook until they begin to splutter. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until it loses its rawness.
3.
Reduce the flame to medium-low and add chopped onions to the pan. Cook until it’s transparent. Now add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cover the lid of the pan so that all the ingredients blend well and the tomatoes are mushy.
4.
Once the oil starts to separate, add spices - coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt.
5.
Whisk some yoghurt and add kasuri methi to it. Mix well and add it to the pan to combine with other ingredients.
6.
Once it starts to leave oil, add the minced chicken to it. Keep mixing and combining the ingredients so that there are no lumps. Add meat masala to the pan and mix well.
