Ingredients of Haldi Doodh

  • 350 ml Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Honey (or, to taste)
  • 1 pod Elaichi (green cardamom)
  • 2 Whole black peppercorns

How to Make Haldi Doodh

To begin with, add haldi powder, ghee and honey in a saucepan. Give it a quick whisk to remove the lumps.

Add milk, peppercorns and lightly bashed elaichi to the saucepan. Whisk well and bring the mix to a boil.

Bring down the heat to minimum. Allow it to simmer gently for 2-3 mins before taking it off the heat. Strain it into cups and serve hot!
