Ingredients of Kolache Pohe (Konkani-Style Poha)
- 1 Cup Poha, soaked
- 1 Bowl Coconut Milk
- Jaggery, as per taste
- Tamarind pulp, as per taste
- 2 Green Chillies (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- A pinch of Asafoetida
- 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
- 1 Whole red chilli
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Freshly chopped coriander leaves
- Salt, as per taste
How to Make Kolache Pohe (Konkani-Style Poha)

Soak jaggery and tamarind in water separately and strain the water.

In a bowl of coconut milk, add the jaggery and tamarind water, salt, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt. Mix everything together.

Prepare a tadka. Heat ghee, add red chilli, jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing and let the spices splutter.

Add the tadka to the coconut milk and pour the milk on soaked poha.
5.
And kolache pohe is ready to be relished.
