Open Paneer Veg Toast Recipe: This open masala paneer toast is perfect for a quick breakfast or evening snack. Paneer is lightly cooked with basic veggies and spices before being spread on bread slices. These can then be toasted on a tawa/pan or in an oven.

Ingredients of Open Paneer Veg Toast
- 4 bread slices
- 100 gram paneer
- 1 green capsicum
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- 1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric powder)
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp oil/ butter
- 1 tbsp butter, for toasting
- Salt to taste
How to Make Open Paneer Veg Toast

Finely chop the tomato, onion, capsicum and paneer. Keep ready.

In a small kadhai or pan, heat oil/ butter and add the onion. After a minute, add haldi and chilli powder.

Saute the ingredients and then add the tomato and half a teaspoon salt.

Finally, add the capsicum, paneer and pepper. Saute for another minute or so. Turn off the heat.

Butter both sides of the bread slices. Lightly toast them on one side.

Then flip them over and spread the paneer mixture evenly. Sprinkle the chilli flakes and coriander leaves.
7.
Cover and allow to cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Enjoy hot with ketchup and/or green chutney.
