The holy month of Ramadan is drawing towards an end with 'Meethi Eid' or Eid-Al-Fitr just around the corner. Ramadan is the time when Muslims around the world observe fasts (roza) for the entire month. Some of them do not consume even a drop of water and break their fast in evening, after offering their prayers. This year, the month of Ramadan would conclude on 25th May, 2020 (dates may vary as per the lunar movement) with the festival of Eid-Al-Fitr.

With the pandemic of Coronavirus dampening the spirits, Eid might not be celebrated with as much fervour as before since people can't visit their loved ones. But there is a lot that we can do at home including enjoying a lavish feast of mouth-watering dishes. Much like any other festival, Eid is also celebrated with a string of delectable sweet and savoury treats. Eid-Al-Fitr is also known as 'Meethi Eid' and we think we've got another excuse to treat our sweet tooth! Also what's a festival without some sweets anyway, right?
