Mumbai-Based Restaurant Makes the World's Largest Jalebi & Imarti
It took 12 chefs and almost four hours to make the world's largest Jalebi and Imarti, and break all previous world records. The record breaking sweet treats were conceptualized by a Mumbai-based Saatvik restaurant called 'Sanskriti'. The 12 member team was headed by Gaurav Chaturvedi and received great support from celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

It went down in Guiness World Records, it also made it to the Limca Book of Records. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor was the first to start work on the Imarti and created the first perimeter.  (Food Records That Are Beyond Bizarre)Apart from this, the team also made the largest Jalebi in the world and made it to the Limca Book of Records. The sweetmeat weighed 18 kg with a diameter of nine feet, breaking the previous record of 8.2 feet. It took three hours and 53 minutes to make. "It's a proud moment for us and I'm very happy that the purpose with which we attempted this event is achieved," Sapna chaturvedi, founder director of Sanskriti restaurant, said in a statement.
