We can never get enough of mouth-watering desserts and cold beverages this season. After all, it's the cool sweet treats, be it ice creams, smoothies or any other such dessert, that keep us sane when the blazing heat continues to trouble us. Many of us visit restaurants or cafes to savour these delights while some people also prefer staying at home and rustling up some good and rich desserts to enjoy with the family. So, if you are looking for such quick dessert options that can be made at home, chef Kunal Kapur's rose jigarthanda recipe video on Instagram is for you. He used gond khatira in the dish that's known for curing dehydration and treating heat strokes - something which is very important in summer.

Looking for a healthy drink option? Chef Kunal Kapur previously shared a recipe for a muskmelon (kharbuja) smoothie that's perfect for the ongoing summer season. Muskmelon is packed with vitamin C, fibre, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that help us detox, digest and boost immunity. To make the smoothie, all you need to do is take chopped muskmelon, milk, honey, chopped celery, ginger, nutmeg, black pepper powder, vanilla extract and coconut water. Put all the ingredients into a blending jar and blend them all. Muskmelon smoothie is ready.

Apart from these, summers are also about sipping on Frappuccino. Do you agree? Kunal Kapur once shared a recipe for caramel Frappuccino on Instagram. To prepare this, first, make a caramel sauce. Take sugar and sprinkle some water and lemon juice in a pan and let it turn golden brown. Once the sugar is caramelised, add cream to it and mix well. Caramel sauce is ready. For the main drink, blend some ice cubes, milk, coffee powder, vanilla extract and of course, the caramel sauce (you prepared) altogether. For serving, pour it into a glass. For the topping, use some yummy whipped cream.

Hope you enjoy the season in the best ways possible and let these recipes help you do so.
