If you are not familiar with fondue, then let us give you a lowdown. Fondue is a Swiss delicacy where melted Swiss cheese is served in a pot and over a portable stove along with some accoutrements served on the side. Generally, melted cheese is accompanied by pieces of bread and vegetables. The fondue is served on a portable stove so that the cheese remains melted while consumed. Dabeli is a Gujarati snack originating from the Kutch region. This resembles the Maharashtrian vada pav as ladi pavs are stuffed with boiled potatoes, dabeli masala and chutneys.
