Eating the same kind of food every day can get boring, obviously. So, one constantly needs to try looking for different ways to make the meals interesting. Yes, nutritionist Pooja Makhija has assured us that it's healthy and super yummy. But, what are we talking about? She recently shared the recipe for a mouth-watering probiotic pickle. You can prepare this at home and savour it with your regular dishes including sandwiches, and roti sabzi among others. It's highly flavourful and basically everything that's needed to make your meals extra zesty.
Ingredients:
1) Raw onions
2) Apple cider vinegar
3) Hot water
4) Raw beetroots
5) Salt
6) Dill
How to make this amazing probiotic pickle?
1) In a bowl, take raw chopped onions and pour some apple cider vinegar followed by hot water into it.
2) Add raw beetroots and some salt. However, Pooja Makhija has clarified that you can also add other vegetables like carrots or cabbage/cauliflower.
3) Now, put this at room temperature for 24 to 36 hours and your probiotic pickle is ready.
4) You can either use this delectable pickle as a topping on your sandwiches or have it simply with rotis as well. This is probiotic and delicious, Pooja added.

Pooja Makhija often shares recipes for healthy sweet and savoury delicacies on social media. Some days ago, she dropped the recipe for carrot gnocchi. This can be one of the best ways to consume carrots in this cold weather. Peel and chop them into pieces. You can blanch them or pressure cook the same. Mash the carrots and add grated garlic, chilli flakes, oregano, salt and pepper into it. Put wheat flour or even millet and corn flour. Knead it into a dough. Roll into pipes and cut small pieces of the same. Create a pattern of gnocchi. Steam the pieces in water. You can add the gnocchi to a sauce of your choice.
Include these treats into your diet and enjoy.
