Let's admit it. Now, that most of us are spending so much time at home, we have to make peace with the fact that we cannot just drive to our favourite cafe or restaurant each time cravings kick. However, you can try recreating some restaurant-style magic at home after all. Yes, we understand it is no mean feat- but what if the restaurant reveals its secret recipe, then you have no excuse not to try it, right?

We managed to get Uncultured Cafe's famous piri piri prawn recipe, and this scintillating starter is a crowd favourite! The fiery flavour of this crispy and crunchy snack makes it a hit among everyone. It is ideal for any movie night, date night, and an evening with cocktails. It is ridiculously easy to make at home too. All you need is to make the perfect piri piri seasoning, marinate the prawns nicely, until all the prawns are well-coated. Refrigerate for a while and fry them. Since these prawns are so flavourful on their own, they do not really need any accompaniment. However, you can pair it with any dip of your choice or green chutney. It is a good idea to take prawns of slightly bigger size for this snack, and make sure you wash them properly. It is also a good idea to divide the prawn and the tail.

How To Marinate The Prawns:

To make the marinade, mix the oil with the garlic, chilli, salt and paprika, then toss in the prawns. Marinate the prawns in the fridge for up to 2 hours.
