Another day, another amazing recipe from Bhagyashree's culinary diaries. The actress has shared a delectable dish to enjoy the monsoon season. While everyone is tempted to get lured towards tea and pakoras on a rainy day, Bhagyashree came up with a healthy alternative, ragi cheela, that will make your tummy happy. First, we have listed the ingredients:
- Ragi flour
- Rice flour
- Turmeric powder
- Red chilli powder
- Coriander powder
- Mint powder
- Fennel seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Salt
- Mint
- Curd
- Green chillies
- Cabbage
- Onion
- Capsicum
- Tomato
- Oil
- Paneer/Cheese
Now, take a look at the steps:
- First, Mix two tablespoons of rice flour with ragi flour.
- Next, add the regular spices — turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and salt to the bowl. Mix the ingredients to form a thick paste.
- It's time to introduce two tablespoons of curd, green chillies, cabbage, onion, capsicum and tomato to the batter. Again, mix it well.
- Now, it's to cook. Heat a non-stick tawa and brush ghee/oil on it. TIP: perform a drop test to check the heat intensity of tawa.
- Spread the batter on the tawa and cover it with a lid. Slip the side and let it cook.
- Before serving, garnish it with paneer and you are good to go.
