We, in India, are often praised for our jugaad (innovative mindset). This concept refers to the ability to find quick and creative solutions to problems using limited resources. However, not all types of jugaad are safe or practical. Some makeshift solutions may compromise safety standards, for example, this lady who is going viral for her creative way of toasting bread. In an Instagram video, a lady is seen toasting bread in a mosquito racket. Yes, you read that right. Mosquito rackets, also known as electric fly swatters are handheld devices designed to kill insects, particularly mosquitoes and flies, using an electric shock. 

In the bizarre video now circulating online, the woman places slices of bread on the electrified surface of the racket, using it as a makeshift toaster. She toasts one side, before flipping it over to the other side, achieving a perfectly browned and toasted slice of bread. “Bread sekne ki new technique [new technique to toast bread],” the caption read.

Meanwhile, the internet is not impressed by this unconventional method.

Before this, a viral Instagram Reels showed a man's innovative use of a bicycle tyre as a dining table. In the video, the man is seated on a low stool with a small square table in front of him, holding his plate and glass. Positioned in front of the table is a bicycle wheel suspended horizontally and fixed on an axle. Several plates are balanced over the spokes of the wheel, containing various dishes such as dal, sabzi, curry, salad, onions with chilies, and eggs. As the video progresses, the man effortlessly rotates the wheel, allowing him to access each dish without needing to stand up from his stool.
