With summer heat showing no sign of mercy, we can't help but reach out for countless glasses of coolers. From fresh juices to soft drinks, we are spoilt for choices. Aren't we? But there is one standout drink that is not only delicious but also healthy — Shikanji. While you might have had the drink quite a few times, you may not have tried it from this unique stall in Ajmer, Rajastha, where it is prepared in a truly bizarre yet interesting manner. 

In the clip, shared by a food vlogger in Instagram (@foodie_incarnate), we can see the vendor standing at a regular-looking stall and preparing shikanji. It soon shows the man opening a bottle of soda. Sounds normal, right? Well, it is everything but normal. The fizz coming out of the bottle will make you rub yours eyes in disbelief. The vlogger says in the video, "This a unique stall where the amount of shikanji poured around is as much as it is served to the customers."

The video then shows the vendor slapping some fizz and soda on his hands and arms too. He goes on to show the rest of the process of preparing this shikanji which involves adding some lemon juice in water. The vendor said that he prepares the soda from scratch and it is the fizziest in the whole country.

While the shikanji, after being prepared, looks good for sure, the process of preparing it has left a sour taste for many in the comment section:

 "How do you come across these gems? I'm so intrigued," asked a user. Another wrote, "More unhygienic and irritating, there are more chances are you might get viral."

"Was it necessary to wash hands with soda?" asked a person. "A little attention to hygiene would have not harmed” echoed a few.

Taking a dig at the vendor pouring and dropping soda all around his stall, a user called his stall, a "waterpark."
