I think we all can agree that proposing to someone can be nerve-wracking. From making all kinds of big gestures to limiting it to a private affair, we wish to make that moment so memorable that it always stays etched in our hearts. However, there are also times when a proposal might go wrong and become a nightmare. Recently, a similar thing happened to a man from Johannesburg, South Africa. The man decided to pull off a surprise proposal for his girlfriend in the middle of a busy McDonald's eatery. But soon, things took a different turn from there.

In the video uploaded by Twitter user @Madame_Fosette, which was captioned, "Witnessed such a sad situation today," we can see a woman standing in front of the cash counter and a man on his knees behind her. As the woman turns around to see, she looks at the man in disbelief and can be seen shaking her head. Then further in the video, it seems like they both got into an argument, and the woman leaves the place, while the man just stands there. The proposal was being recorded by numerous people standing inside McDonald's. Check out the full video here:

Women may love a public proposal but it all depends where & when."
