Besides the United States, the brand has outlets across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. According to reports, a Karens diner outlet in Australia made the headlines when one of the employees went too far (with rudeness) while serving the customers.

As per reports, the employee touched a customer's food after serving it on the table. A 15-second video of the incident was posted on Twitter and the caption read, "Touching my food taking it too far even with the theme." The caption further read, "After a one-hour wait for food, the rude waiter threw it on the table and started eating our onion rings."

In the video, we could see a Karens diner employee bringing three baskets of food, including burgers, onion rings and chips. She puts the order on the table and picks up an onion ring, dips it in the sauce and relishes it while walking away.
In no time, the video went all over social media garnering 23 million views, 118k likes and thousands of comments.
"The number of people that are okay with this server touching people's food is astonishing to me," read a comment. Another comment read, "It would have been all fun and games until she touched my food and proceeded to put it in her mouth." A third person wrote, "Na that is not even part of the act. Hahaha. She missed her lunch break and was getting hungry."
