The video was shared by popular blogger Naman Parmar, who goes by the handle @lets.eattogether. "Only one in Mumbai Cheese Chakli Pav," he wrote in the caption. The video of the cheese chakli vada pav has received over 1.5 million views and 26.7k likes since the time it was shared.
In the video of cheese chakli vada pav, we could see the making of the bizarre vada pav. First, a pav was cut in half and two different kinds of chutneys were applied to the pav. Then, some diced onions and bits of cheese slice were added to the vada pav followed by a single piece of chakli. Then, it was warmed up on a grill and then served with a smattering of butter on top. The stall was named Shri Kashi Foods and was located in the Mulund West area of Mumbai.
While the blogger called the recipe the "perfect combination of crunchy and soft", other Mumbaikars seemed to disagree. A flurry of shocked reactions poured into the comments section of the viral video. "It's the only one in Mumbai because no one wants it," said one user. "Please, guys. Don't defame Mulund by making the weirdest combinations," requested another user.
