Ingredients of Almond And Saffron Festive Kashmiri Naan Bread

  • For Dough
  • 250 gram Refined flour
  • 50 gram Almond powder
  • 40 gram Desi ghee (clarified butter)
  • 8 gram Yeast
  • 5 gram Salt
  • 50 gram Fine sugar
  • 150 ml Full Fat milk
  • 1/2 gram Saffron
  • For topping of bread
  • 15 gram Almond flakes
  • 5 gram Cranberries
  • 5 gram Tutti frutti
  • 5 gram Dry rose petals

How to Make Almond And Saffron Festive Kashmiri Naan Bread

For the Dough

Warm milk and soak saffron in it then make dough by mixing all ingredients with this milk.

Divide the dough in 2 equal parts and leave for 20 minutes to leaven.

For Baking Bread

1.
Take baking sheet and give each dough a round shape by using hands. It should be ½ inch in thickness. And then top it with almond flakes, cranberries, tutti fruti and dry rose petals.

Allow it to proof for 5 minutes and then bake it at 180 c for 2-3 minutes or till golden in colour.
