Ingredients of Chicken And Tofu Satay
- 2 Chicken breast
- 1 bowl small Tofu cubes
- 1/2 bowl small Red and yellow bell peppers (diced)
- Oil (to brush while barbequing)
- For the marinade:
- 1 tbsp Red curry paste
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 3 tsp Fish sauce
- 2 tsp Ginger paste
- 3 tsp Garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Butter
- For the peanut sauce:
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2-3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 bowl small Peanuts (crushed)
- A pinch of Turmeric
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 4 tsp Fish sauce
- 4-5 tbsp Coconut milk
How to Make Chicken And Tofu Satay
Prepare the marinade:
1.
Mix all the ingredients together in a paste form.
Prepare the satay:
1.
Marinate the chicken in one bowl.
2.
Marinate the tofu pieces and bell peppers in one.
3.
Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
4.
Skewer it and barbeque till done while basting with some oil in between.
Prepare the peanut sauce:
1.
In a pan add oil, garlic, peanuts. Saute.
2.
Add turmeric, red chilli powder, sugar, fish sauce and coconut milk.
3.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
4.
Serve with the satay.
