Ingredients of Jhatpat Paalak

  • 3/4 kg spinach-washed, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp ghee
  • 4 cloves
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg-scraped
  • 1 1/2 tsp rock salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp fresh cream

How to Make Jhatpat Paalak

1. Heat the ghee and add the cloves, peppercorns, nutmeg followed by the spinach.

2. Then add salt and sugar and continue to cook over high flame, till the spinach is tender and the liquids have dried up.

3. Garnished it with some fresh cream and serve it hot.
