Anda Pomfret Recipe: How To Make Egg Pomfret | Anda Paplet
This recipe requires the preparation of three things - egg keema, omelette, and egg gravy.
Heat butter and oil in a pan, saute crushed black pepper, cumin seeds, chopped onion, garam masala and chopped boiled egg whites. Prepare a green paste using coriander leaves and ginger. Pour the paste into the egg whites and squeeze lemon juice. The egg keema is ready.
Prepare an omelette with whole eggs, pepper powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt. Once the omelette is ready, stuff in the egg keema and place it on a plate.
In the same pan, heat more oil and butter. Saute peppercorns, cumin seeds, onion paste, garlic, ginger and tomato paste. Add grated egg whites from the boiled egg used to make the egg keema. Season it with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Pour water and cook it till the gravy thickens. Place the gravy on the omelette plate. The anda pomfret is ready!
