Maharashtrian cuisine has a huge fan following across the country. Be it vada pav, misal pav, puran poli or ragda pattice, these dishes are simply hard to resist! However, what makes them even more delicious are the chutneys that go along with them. They can instantly enhance the flavour of any dish and make them even more appetising. And it seems to be the same for actress Malika Arora. Recently, she was seen relishing a delectable Maharashtrian chutney. In her Instagram story, we could see a bowl full of Thecha. "Thecha, not for the faint-hearted," read the caption in the story. She also tagged her sister Amrita Arora in it. Take a look: 


For the unversed, Thecha is a classic Maharashtrian chutney that is made using a combination of green chillies, garlic, peanuts and coriander. It has a hot and spicy flavour and is usually served with bhakri (millet flatbread) or cheela. If you're wondering how to make this delicious chutney, we've got you covered. First, heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and saute until golden brown. Add jeera and allow it to splutter. Now, add green chillies and mix well. Add peanuts and cook on medium flame for around 2-3 minutes. (You can also dry roast the peanuts before adding them, as it gives a nice flavour to the chutney.) Add salt. Take off from heat and allow it to cool. Now, grind all the ingredients using a mortar or pestle.
