"Nutella commercials focus on advertising the spread as a quick and healthy option for breakfast, especially for children. However, due to its high amount of sugar, it may not be the best way to start your day," the post reads. Pooja Makhija goes on to say, "Sugar is listed FIRST on the ingredient label. This is because sugar is its primary ingredient, comprising 57% of its weight!!!!!!!!" Hence, she suggests trying a "healthier version instead".

What Goes Into Making Healthy Nutella | Pooja Makhija's Nutella Recipe:
Ingredients
Hazelnut- 1cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 3tbsp
Dates- 6 (medium)
Almond milk - 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 2tbsp
Maple syrup -2tbsp
Salt - a pinch
Method:
1. Grind oven roasted hazelnut until it turns smooth and buttery.
2. Add rest of the ingredients and blend well. And voila!
