Bengali Fish Fry Recipe: How To Make Kolkata's Street-Style Fish Fry:
- Marinate the fish fillet with salt, chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste and lime juice. Let it rest for almost 30 minutes.
- Now bread the fish with maida, egg and breadcrumbs one by one. Make sure your hand is dry while coating with breadcrumbs.
- Chill it in refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes to make it firm and then, deep fry until it turns crispy golden brown.
- Serve it hot with kasundi (Bengali mustard sauce). You can also serve green chutney or ketchup by the side.
