After providing its relentless service for a good period of about 27 years, Internet Explorer finally retired on Wednesday. It won't be wrong to say that it's been quite a journey for the iconic Internet Explorer. Although it didn't come as a shock to many because Microsoft had announced that IE services would end on June 15, 2022, there are many people making memes on social media. And as the ritual has it, Amul dedicated a topical underlining the retirement of Internet Explorer. The post has shown a Bollywood twist.
The topical featured the Amul girl sitting on a chair and surfing a popular Bollywood song “Tera mujhse hai pehla ka internaata koi,” as we could also see the iconic logo of Internet Explorer (with a twist) on the screen of her PC. The topical also mentioned, “Macro soft butter.” As always, the creative tribute has won the hearts of the masses. In fact, the post has garnered an array of comments from the people viewing the post.

This is not the first time Amul shared a post dedicated to retirement. About a week ago, when India cricketer Mithali Raj had announced retirement, Amul shared a topical for her. Previously, when tennis legend Rafael Nadal lifted his 14th French Open title, Amul dropped a topical to mark the feat. The post featured Amul girl along with the celebrated Tennis player who could be seen holding the trophy. The topical read, “Rafarever and ever.” Further, it also mentioned, “Put on a Rolland enjoy.”
