The director tweeted a picture of her child trying to eat an aloo paratha for breakfast albeit with a knife and a fork! What was even more hilarious than the picture itself was her caption. Chaddha, who is known to depict the best of Indian culture and milieu onscreen abroad, was not too pleased at the rather unusual way of eating the North Indian bread, "oh wow is me! How on earth did I raise a child who insists on eating Allu parantas with a knife and fork! Fiteh Moo!" she wrote to describe the situation (read: abomination).

Paratha, a desi flat bread, can be of many kinds; some relish it with a dollop of butter while others like pairing it with pickle or sabzi, but it is always eaten with bare hands. Therefore, using a fork to tear into the soft bread has worked up many Indians on Twitter resulting in countless memes and slew of funny reactions.

"Please don't tell us how you eat gol-gappas", wrote a user.
"You should have taken the cutlery away from your child. Or done it the indian way, grab it, thaapa, then shout eat like an indian..." wrote another.
There were surprisingly a few supporters too.
"Worst part is he/she is having raw onions & tomatos on buttered paratha. Disclaimer : Now I feel like trying it too Same style", wrote a user.
"Excuse me!! Nothing wrong with that. I do too", read another reply.
