Popular soda brand PepsiCo is all set to bring back one of its popular drinks from the 90s - it's the Crystal Pepsi. Crystal Pepsi was launched in the United States and Canada in the year 1992 and was discontinued by 1994. As 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of this popular drink from the 90s, the brand decided to bring it back to provide the patrons a refreshing taste of nostalgia. According to Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing at Pepsi, the company wanted to do "something extra special to celebrate (the 30th anniversary) and reward the passionate fans", who were eagerly waiting for the return of Crystal Pepsi.

But, don't expect to find Crystal Pepsi in stores near you! Pepsi recently took to its Twitter to announce the comeback and an online contest to win the Crystal Pepsi. According to the tweet, contestants have to post a picture of themselves during the 90s with hashtags 'ShowUsYour90s' and 'PepsiSweepstakes'. The post further read that the contest will have 300 winners; and each winner will be awarded with six 20-ounce (approx. 600ml) bottles of the drink.

"Strap on your fanny packs, your fave 90s drink is turning 30! Partying face Post a pic of you from the 90s using #ShowUsYour90s + #PepsiSweepstakes for a chance to be 1 of 300 to win Crystal Pepsi," Pepsi tweeted on January 4, 2022. The post also mentioned that the contest that started on January 4 (Tuesday) and will end on January 6 (Thursday).
