Stolen KitKat Tracker: After multiple brands released their "official statements" as a joke in response to KitKat's recent heist announcement, the Nestle chocolate brand has now issued another official statement to help locate the missing batch. Titled "Official Statement In Response To Other Official Statements," KitKat wrote, "Thank you for your interest in the missing KitKats. But just to clarify, this is not a stunt or an April Fool's joke. Someone really stole 12 tonnes of KitKats. And we really want to know where they've gone."
Introducing the tracker, the brand added, "So, we've created a Stolen KitKat Tracker that lets you check if your KitKat is from the missing batch."
The link leads to a 'KitKat Stolen Form' that displays a sample picture of the stolen race car-shaped chocolate, part of the brand's new Formula One collection, launched after KitKat became the official F1 chocolate partner last year.

Further, the form reads, "413,793 KitKats have been stolen. Is yours one of them? Find the 8-digit batch number on the back of your KitKat." Users can then enter their KitKat's batch code into the form.
The latest announcement has continued to receive humorous reactions from social media users:
One joked, "So your slogan isn't 'Break in, have a KitKat'?"
Another said, "The Great KitKat heist-can't wait for the film."
A third added, "If this is an April Fool's stunt, I will applaud you and pat my back. Whilst eating a KitKat."
Another comment read, "Somewhere out there, a guy is having the longest 'break' in history."
