A reel showing a confrontation between an Ola food delivery agent and a customer has taken Instagram by storm. Noida-based entrepreneur, Aman Birendra Jaiswal, shared the footage in which he caught the delivery partner eating the fries he had reportedly ordered. When the video opens, we see the agent sitting on a motorcycle at an outdoor location. He is eating French fries from a box. His companion is seated on another bike beside him. The agent asks the customer (who is behind the camera), "Kya hai?" ["What happened?"] He points out that the delivery partner is eating his fries. The latter simply replies, "Haan toh karte raho jo karna hai tumhe" ["Okay, so do what you will"].

The customer then asks him why he didn't deliver the order. The agent's companion asks him about the same and the customer tells him that what's in front of them (being eaten) is actually his order. The agent asks, "Toh kya karu?" ["So what should I do?"]. The customer again demands to know why he didn't deliver it. In the caption, Aman wrote, "@olacabs This is how your food delivery partners are doing their job, first he said I'll take extra Rs. 10 for coming, after denying for the first, somehow I said OK come I'll give and then he kept me waiting for almost 45 minutes and when I found him this is what he said."

The reel has received 3.5 million views so far. In the comments, many people shared similar experiences they have had with Ola food deliveries, as well as other delivery platforms. A few were shocked at the attitude of the Ola delivery agent. Others compared the situation to current affairs. Here's what some Instagram users had to say:

"The same thing happened yesterday with me, I tried ordering from Ola Foods, placed the order, the order got picked up, I got the contact of the delivery guy, then the delivery guy didn't move at all, didn't answer my call. Then I learned that there are no complaints or redressal systems in Ola Foods or Ondc. Very disgusting. But somehow this afternoon I received a refund saying the order was cancelled."
"Such behaviour by the Ola guys has become so common that we've stopped reporting anymore. It's really surprising why no one takes any action. They just know very well how everyone's so dependent on Ola and our feedback matters nothing to them."
"This only happens with OLA. I have experienced this twice without even sharing the OTP, and the order gets marked delivered. Also COD is not available on OLA for food deliveries."
