Indian street food is fascinating. Vendors carry these snacks on a cycle, cart or rolled up on a stick that is rested on their shoulder. One such interesting street food item that will remind you of your childhood is 'lachi'. Recently, popular Russian vlogger Mariia Chugurova, posted a video on her Instagram handle, in which she tries this sweet and artistic Indian candy for the first time. The candy was moulded into fun shapes by the vendor, such as a chicken and a flower.
The vlogger was fascinated with the little chicken shape of the candy. She noticed that the flavour was quite "minty" and bought several candies from the vendor, distributing them to children and even handing one out to a policeman. "Happy police, happy people," she says.

In the caption, Mariia wrote, "Today, I had my first taste of the famous Indian street candy, lachi. The candy maestro moulded the lachi into a perfect chicken figurine. Sweet, crunchy, and mind-blowingly good. India never ceases to amaze!"
The video has gone viral on Instagram, garnering around 2 million views. The reel made several viewers nostalgic for their childhood days. Here are some comments:
