Ingredients of Healthy Burger

  • 2 Potato , boiled
  • 2 cups Besan(ground flour)
  • 1 tsp Haldi Powder
  • 5 gram Curry leaves
  • A pinch of Hing
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Corriander
  • Refined oil for frying
  • 1 tsp Amla
  • 1 tbsp Aloe Vera
  • 1/2 cup Suji
  • 1 tbsp Curry powder
  • Whole-wheat bun

How to Make Healthy Burger

To make bonda mix, heat the oil in a heavy-based pan over a high heat. When it is hot, Add Ginger, Curry leaves Coriander Seed, Sauté for 01 minute. Then add turmeric powder, Curry Powder, Amla, Aloe Vera, and Hing and mix well.

Add the grated potatoes, reduce the heat to low and stir well then add salt, mix well and set aside to cool. When cold, divide into ten balls.

Slice the burger bun in half and spread butter on it. Heat a pan and sear the cut sides of the buns.

To make Gram Flour batter- take Gram Flour, salt and Haldi Powder in a bowl and add water to it. Mix well and make a thick batter

Heat oil in a wok or in a deep-fat fryer. Dip the round potato ball in the batter and deep fry until golden in color. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

Spread the Mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun, arrange the lettuce on top and add potato ball (bonda). Cover it with top slice of the bun and serve with tomato ketchup.
