The tropical ambience with French inspired artwork and hand-painted glass doors will teleport you to a vacation in your favourite European destinations.
The restobar offers some heady cocktails to lift up your spirits. I tried Bubbles In My Goblet- a twist on the traditional Gin and Tonic doused in elderflower tonic and Thai Ginger Cordial, and Aromatic Goblet - jasmine infused gin with elderflower tonic. Both the beverages gave quite a nice, buzzy start to my gastronomic journey there.
The multi-cuisine restaurant offer a variety of dishes including a variety of Pan-Asian delights such as sushi and dim-sums. Spiced Salmon Sushi, Prawn Dumplings and Chicken Pok Choi are a must-try. With the right balance of flavours and depth, sushis and dumplings of Romeo Lane get a big thumbs up from me.
From the tandoor, I tried Chicken Malai Tikka and Fish Tikka - both were not bad but nothing exceptional there. However, the Chinese cuisine impressed me with Mountain Chilli Chicken. Succulent chicken pieces flanked with oyster sauce made for a great appetiser. Also, Hakka Noodles paired with Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce worked up my appetite for more.
So, I moved to Italian food and it got my vote as the best part of my entire meal. Peri Peri Chicken Pizza and Penne In Sundried Tomato Sauce Pasta were simply put, delicious!
Romeo Lane is also located in Civil Lines, New Delhi and Vagator, Goa, but Co-Founder Mr. Saurabh Luthra plans to take the Romeo-Lane experience Pan India.
