Get on a gastronomical adventure, headed by chefs narrating their passion for cooking, back stories about ingredients, and their personal encounters with food. The Courtyard, a community space in Shanti Nagar, Bengaluru, curates some of the city's most exciting community-gourmet experiences. Over 20 stalls that include live counters and products made by the best home-cooks, amateur chefs, food entrepreneurs and restaurant owners in Bangalore will enthral visitors at The Courtyard this Sunday. With mouth-watering food and live musical performances, the festival will have much to offer for gastro connoisseurs and foodies alike.

The Courtyard Food Festival is hosting food enterprises selling whole wheat butter, tiramisu, rich authentic plum cakes, savoury muffins, focaccia bread, free range eggs, chicken leek, mushroom quiche, super-seeded whole wheat sourdough, seedy sourdough, sourdough sandwich loaves, authentic French pastries, spinach dumpling, vegan banoffee pie, mutton shami kebabs, sheer qurma ( Hyderabadi thin vermicilli payasam), Arabic chicken mandi (chicken biryani), Arabic chicken burgers with fries, aila varathathu (mackarel fry), meen curry (spicy fish curry), avial (vegetables cooked in coconut), masala chai latte and falafel bowls.

"The Courtyard Food Festival is an opportunity for us to curate the city's most exciting community-gourmet experience by bringing some great home-cooks and restaurateurs under one roof in a relaxed and family-friendly ambience," says Akhila Srinivas, Organiser of The Courtyard Food Festival. She further added, "With around 20 stalls selling everything from healthy vegan treats to indulgent cakes and baked goodies, authentic home-cooked Goan and Kodagu food, there is something for everyone."

Farm Made Foods, Hungry Alien, Le P'tit Chou, Avvi's, Mariana's Life of Pie, Seed Delight, Conosh, Loafer and Co, The Mad Hatters Tea Party, PeelsNutButterCo. and Home Bakers Kitchen are some of Bengaluru-based food start-ups and brands that will be a part of The Courtyard Food Festival. Homemakers like Habibi's and Smitha are also going to be a part of the food festival. 

The festival will have much to offer for gastro connoisseurs and foodies, alike.

"It's great that we have a platform in Bengaluru to encourage home-cooks, amateur chefs and food entrepreneurs to put up stalls and sell dishes from delicious cuisines. Many of the businesses are making their debut at this food fest, which I think makes it even more special, " said Marika Mammen Appiah, Founder of Mariana's Life of Pie. "We're expecting over 300 people to come down on Sunday. It's going to be a fun day out for families and young professionals who want to sample a variety of food - homemade, artisanal, healthy and indulgent," she said.
