Here Are 5 Easy Tips To Fix A Dry Cake:

1.Brush It With Simple Syrup

The simplest way to fix a dry cake is to brush it with some simple syrup. Boil equal parts of sugar and water and generously coat the top of your cake with it. This allows the syrup to seep into the layers of the cake and helps in bringing back its moisture - it works wonders each time.

2.Brush It With Milk

If you're someone who doesn't want to add more sweetness to your already sweet cake, fret not. You can use milk instead of sugar syrup and it'll solve the same purpose without making your cake extremely sweet. However, make sure not to add too much as it can cause your cake to fall apart.

3.Layer It With A Flavourful Filling

If your cake is still dry, cut it into layers and fill each layer with a flavourful filling of your choice. This not only enhances the taste of your already baked cake but also adds that extra layer of moistness to it. Strawberry, blueberry, vanilla and chocolate are popular fillings that are used to layer cakes.

 4.Frost It

Another excellent way to fix your dry cake is to cover it in frosting. You can use traditional whipped cream, buttercream or even cream cheese frosting. Frosting your cake from all sides allows it to lock in all the moisture and prevents it from escaping the cake.

 5.The Bread Method

If you're in no hurry to serve your cake immediately after it's baked- the bread method is a must-try! Place your cake in a sealed plastic bag or container with a slice of bread at room temperature for several hours. After some time, you'll notice that the bread has gone hard as the cake absorbs all the moisture from it.
